Chat Aid is available as a subscription or through a 30-day free trial.
Free Trial
We appreciate your interest to explore Chat Aid free trial. Here are the limitations while you are on the free trial of Chat Aid:
- The Chat Aid free trial lasts for 30 days or 50 Questions (whichever ends first) for your workspace from the moment you install it.
- Adding data to your wiki and training Chat Aid consumes tokens. Free Trial instances are limited to a total of 4 Million Tokens or 500 MB of training data per month (whichever comes first). This limitation resets on the 1st of each calendar month.
- During the free trial, all employees in your Slack workspace have access to ask 50 questions in 30 days. You can enable Chat Aid to study your company documentation across all connections to apps, let employees ask questions on your data and a lot more.
- When your free trial is over, you and your company will no longer have access to ask Chat Aid questions. Once you subscribe to Chat Aid, you will again be able to ask questions with a limit of 100 questions for each License that is purchased. You can also buy additional questions as an add-on.
How much does the Chat Aid license cost?
Each Chat Aid License costs $19/license/month.
For each license purchased, your workspace will have access to the following:
- Up to 100 questions asked per month (this amount is shared across all licensed users in the workspace).
- Up to 500 MB of data from connected data sources (this is also shared across the entire workspace).
- Up to 4 Million Tokens of training data per month.
For example, if a workspace has purchased 10 licenses, then up to 10 users will have access to ask a shared pool of 1,000 questions per month. Additionally, the organization will be able to connect up to ~5 GB of data and will be able to use 40 million tokens of training data.
These limitations reset at the end of your subscription period (monthly or yearly) and excess balances are not carried forward to the next month or year.
Add-on Questions
If additional questions are needed, these can be purchased by an Admin. If you are using Slack, you can follow these instructions to purchase this add-on. If you are not using Slack, you can purchase these by sending an email to [email protected].
- Add-on questions are priced at $10.00 for 100 additional questions.
- This is a one-time payment and the questions will never expire as long as your subscription is active.
- At the end of your current billing cycle, any unused questions will be carried forward to your next billing cycle.
Chat Widget Add-on
By default Chat Widgets include Chat Aid branding and questions asked in the Chat Widget count against your total available questions for your instance. To remove this branding, you can pay for an unbranded Chat Widget at a cost of $100/widget/month.
Questions Asked in Chinese
Answering in Chinese, especially when using AI, is a resource-intensive process. Chinese is a character-based language with unique grammar and structure, making it more challenging to answer accurately. Four questions are deducted from your question count for each question that is asked in Chinese.
