Settings
The Settings section of Chat Aid allows administrators and users to configure how Chat Aid behaves, manage users, customize responses, and integrate with other tools.
Settings Overview
Settings are organized into two main categories:
Company Settings (Admin Only)
Company-wide configurations that affect all users:
- General - Company information and basic settings
- Response Settings - Configure where and how Chat Aid responds
- User Management - Manage team members, roles, and permissions
- Personas - Customize Chat Aid's personality and tone
- Auto-Answer - Configure automatic responses in Slack
- Custom APIs - Integrate Chat Aid with your tools
Account Settings (All Users)
Personal settings that each user manages:
- My Account - Personal profile and preferences
- My Connections - Connected apps for Actions
- Automations - API keys and automation setup
Accessing Settings
- Log in to Chat Aid dashboard
- Click Settings in the sidebar
- Choose the setting category you want to configure

Only admins can access Company Settings. All users can access Account Settings.
