Overview

Connect Trello to Chat Aid for both searching your ticketingdata and performing Actions like creating and updating items directly from conversations.

How to Connect

For Data Source (Read-only):

  1. Navigate to Integrations in your Chat Aid dashboard
  2. Find Trello in the Ticketing category
  3. Click Connect
  4. Authenticate with your Trello credentials
  5. Select which content to train on
  6. Click Start Training

For Actions (Read + Write):

  1. Navigate to Actions in your Chat Aid dashboard
  2. Find Trello
  3. Click Connect
  4. Authenticate and grant permissions
  5. Use the [action] filter in conversations to create and update items

Actions

This integration also supports Actions, allowing Chat Aid to perform tasks in Trello directly from conversations - such as creating tickets, updating tasks, or managing items.

What Data is Accessed?

The permissions Chat Aid requests depend on how you connect Trello:

Data Source Connection (Read-only):

  • Read-only access to your content for searching and answering questions
  • No write or delete permissions

Actions Connection (Read + Write):

  • Read access - To view existing items for context
  • Write access - To create and update items on your behalf

For Actions, Chat Aid only performs operations you explicitly request. We never share your data with third parties, and your data is never used to train AI models.

Chat Aid absorbs the following information:

Tickets

  • Ticket name
  • Assignee name
  • Ticket status
  • Ticket due date
  • Ticket description
  • Workspace
  • Collection
  • Ticket tags
  • Created at
  • Updated at
  • Ticket URL
  • Priority
