How to Connect

  1. Navigate to Integrations in your Chat Aid dashboard
  2. Find Help Scout - Inbox in the Helpdesk category
  3. Click Connect
  4. Authenticate with your Help Scout - Inbox credentials
  5. Select which content to train on
  6. Click Start Training

What Data is Accessed?

Chat Aid requests read-only access to your Help Scout - Inbox content. We never modify, delete, or share your data with third parties.

Chat Aid absorbs the following information:

Tickets

  • Ticket name
  • Ticket number
  • Assignee name
  • Collection
  • Ticket status
  • Created by
  • Contact name
  • Ticket type
  • Ticket URL
  • Created at
  • Updated at

Contacts

  • Contact name
  • Contact email address
  • Contact phone numbers
  • Contact details
  • Created at
  • Updated at

Users

  • User name
  • User email address
  • User roles
  • Created at
  • Updated at
